A Multimedia Website
Price: $3,000. If your site will need more than just a few pages, have a little complexity, and will still be something less than our Multimedia package, this is the plan for you. Here's what the package includes:
Page Structure
Up to twenty pages, unlimited word count.* Additional pages billed at the flat hourlay rate listed in Additional Work below.
Navigation (Menu)
Each page will have a navigation menu at top (or left column) and bottom, with links to the standard and custom pages in your site. The Top (or left column) navigation may include flyout links or a stretch menu (like the one on the left hand side of this page), permitting visitors to easily drill down to what they're looking for.
Graphic Design
This package includes all of the web components of our Identity Package, including logo design or logo enhancement for the web (if you already have a logo), basic logo animation if desired, and a home page splash (sort of like a billboard that contains a graphical message), plus custom-designed topical graphics for other pages where appropriate, up to six custom graphics in addition to the logo. We will design your site for you using the color scheme of your existing logo and other company visual materials.
Approvals
We'll submit a basic design ("shell") for your approval, based on your company's existing look and feel. We'll make pre-production changes to the shell up to three times for free (three free approval processes); additional design change requests for the included pages will be invoiced at $40 per approval cycle.
Copywriting
You know what sort of things your pages should say, but you don't have the written words? We'll develop the basic copy for your pages to the best of our ability and limits of our knowledge.
Traffic-Driving Dynamic Content
Choose up to four from the following traffic-driving content:
- Embedded Video – We'll format a existing video for the web, install the player on your site, and include the video on any page or pages you choose
- Embedded Introduction - Have a page with an introductory voice recording, with professionally-recorded voice over talent
- Music Downloads - Have a page with MPG downloads
- Viral Share-A-Page – A link or button on each page, encouraging your visitors to send the page by email to a friend or colleague; choose Opt-in Mode to add the visitor's email to your email list, or Privacy Mode to assure the visitor that no email addresses are being stored. Free for one year, $35 thereafter.
- Your blog, summarized on one page, or in a column on your home page
- Publications and Tools – A download site where visitors can get your electronic publications, whitepapers, templates, spreadsheets
- Industry News Page – Syndicated RSS news content, filtered for relevance to your line of business and customers
- Gallery Pages – Up to five of your pages with Lightloom Display™ image galleries.
- Syndicated Humor – Choose from comic/cartoon syndications (syndication fees may apply)
Choose additional content from the options above for $300 per item.
Monetizing Your Site
Add Google AdSense advertising to your pages, and get paid as visitors click the ads. We'll assist you in setting up your AdSense account. (And/or choose an Advertising Management System add-on to sell and track your own ads.)
Special Functions
Your Moderate site can have several capabilities that you may find especially useful. Choose any of the following special functions:
- Sell products and services and accept payments, basic ecommerce functions with no need for a costly merchant account
- Allow visitors to upload files to you – data, pictures, music, etc.
- Anti-Spam web contact form with online contact database
Tracking Site Traffic
We'll set up your Quantcast Publisher visitor tracking system, tagging each page in your site so that you can learn about your visitors, which of your pages they are viewing, and when. After a few months of data has been collected, Quantcast will help you understand the age, gender and income demographics of your audience, and where they live. You'll even be able to see which large businesses have visited your site. We'll also assist you in setting up a Google Analytics account, and insert page tags in your site for you.
Promotion
We'll create Google- and Yahoo-friendly sitemaps, and submit your site properly for search engine listing. Of course, we'll utilize meta tag keywords, description and abstract, as well as heading-keyed page structures for maximum effect. You'll want to send out an email to your contact list announcing your site's launch. As a bonus, we'll post a press release announcing your launch with multiple media release services, designed to be picked up by Google News and syndicated across the web, causing your link to appear widely.
Additional Work
If you find that you need additional work over and above what's covered in this plan, don't worry. We'll warn you in advance if your request would trigger additional charges, we'll tell you exactly what the charges would be, and you will pay a flat rate of $55 guaranteed through the term of the agreement.
Future Updates
After your site is up and running, you'll probably need to make changes now and then. That's where our Maintenance & Support Plans come in. Choose from three support plans, Standard, Premium or Advanced. (NOTE: We recommend the Premium or Advanced plan for the multimedia website.) Without a Maintenance Plan, we will bill a flat rate of $55.
Free Basic Technical Support
If you choose us as your hosting provider, too, we'll give you basic technical support at no additional charge. Hosting starts at $20 per month.
