Happy accident... We were partnering with a startup to develop some clever technologies with them, but they ran out of money. We had to eat what we had been building, and what a rich meal it has been! What we built—marketing and administrative tools for the healthcare industry—became such a good seller that we formed a company. CarePrecise Technology then gave us a platform that could support the launch of Lightloom Design, encompassing in one space the broader range of what we'd been doing separately for many years.
About Lightloom Design
It's a coalescence of decades of separate experiences in web development, print marketing, graphic design, copywriting, video production, photography, fine art and music production. In Lightloom Design, these are all under one banner, one cohesive whole.
We have print design experience that reaches back to when "web" meant a type of printing press. Our World Wide Web production experience began in the early 1990s when our founder developed one of the first web-based applications. He was composing music for the theatre and film, and working here and there as voice-over talent, in the 1980s. Publication design, photography, video, animation, web-based learning and the rest came along in the past few years, vastly expanding our creative range with new Creative Associates.
